Mr. Boison is a Principal and Consultant with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. in its New York office. He is a graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics. Mr. Boison has over 39 years of experience in insurance pricing for property/casualty insurance.

Mr. Boison is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). He is also a member of the International Actuarial Association (IAA). He is the past Vice President-International of the Executive Council of the CAS. He is also the past Chair of the Actuarial Standards Board Casualty Committee, the Casualty Actuarial Society Ratemaking Committee and the Board of Directors of the Actuarial Education and Research Fund.

He was most recently Senior Vice President at Insurance Services Office, Inc., in charge of the international area. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President, Insurance Services where he was in charge of ratemaking activities, insurance manual development, and policy forms (policy contracts) development for all ISO lines of insurance. Mr. Boison had worked at ISO (and its predecessor organization, Insurance Rating Board), since June, 1970, holding progressively more responsible management positions in various ISO divisions, dealing with personal lines and commercial lines pricing, actuarial research, and financial analysis of the U. S. insurance market.

Mr. Boison has co-authored a paper entitled “New Jersey Automobile No Fault Study: Analysis of the Cost Effects of AB 3531 and SB 2533” which was published in the NAIC’s Journal of Insurance Regulation. He has also given numerous speeches and panel presentations in professional and public forums.
