Spring Break, Spring Training and Mickey Mouse: Those are frequently the first things that come to mind when thinking about March in Orlando. To complement these perennial rites of spring, the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) held its annual Ratemaking and Product Management (RPM) Seminar from March 14-16th at the Disney Yacht Club Resort. I attended the Basic Ratemaking Workshop and various seminars ranging in topics from Price Optimization and UBI to Using Predictive Modeling for Ratemaking.
