Registration is now open for the Pinnacle APEX Webinar, Flood Insurance – Past, Present and Future.
Join Director and Consulting Actuary Linda Brobeck and Senior Consulting Actuary Greg Frankowiak with Aon's Megan Hart as they discuss the landscape of flood insurance.
It has been just over a year since banking regulations were updated to allow lenders’ acceptance of a private flood insurance policy to satisfy the mandatory purchase of flood insurance. The privatization of flood insurance may provide a real growth opportunity for the right company. In fact, insurers have already been increasing their presence in the flood insurance industry. There are several considerations for those assessing the opportunity to underwrite flood insurance. One of the main resources to price the coverage will be the utilization of a flood model. In addition to an overview of the current landscape of the privatization of flood insurance, this session will delve into the best practices of evaluating a flood model.
We encourage interaction with our presenters; please feel free to submit questions before the webinar to: APEXsupport@pinnacleactuaries.com. We will address them during the presentation as time allows. You will also have the ability to submit questions in "real-time" during the session.
