The actuarial analyst creates, organizes and inputs data into actuarial models, supporting client relationships by providing accurate information and feedback.
The consulting actuary functions as an independent advisor to insurance companies, corporations, federal, state and local governments, and trade associations on actuarial matters. Works on a client base of others and/or works toward developing their own client base as an account executive, or provide predictive analytics services to clients. Works in and leads project teams as well as leads actuarial analyses and client services.
