Juhyun serves as project manager for a number of commercial lines and homeowners rate filing projects, performing indications and assisting with rate manual development. He also has experience in assignments involving loss reserving, loss cost projections, pricing and rate filing support, commercial lines ratemaking and actuarial audit reviews. He has worked with pricing and reserve analyses for captive insurers writing traditional commercial coverages, as well as finding creative solutions for non-traditional, customized commercial coverages.
Prior to joining Pinnacle, Juhyun worked for large insurance companies, where his responsibilities included small commercial general liability pricing, commercial umbrella product and pricing development, middle market general liability and umbrella reserving. His pricing responsibilities included performing rate indications and rate filing support. His reserving responsibilities included presenting results to executives. Juhyun started his career in customer service and business analyst roles, which helped him find his career as an actuary.
